Applications are being accepted at the Office of the City Clerk, 103
College Street, Batesville, Mississippi, Monday through Friday between
the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. until further notice for the following
position(s):
Applicants for all positions must be at least 21 years of age
Police Officer
Qualified applicants for Police Officer must:
have a valid Mississippi driver's license and good driving record.
Out of state applicants must have a valid driver's license from your
state of residence and good driving record. Your must be able to
obtain a Mississippi driver's license prior to employement with the
City of Batesville
be a high school graduate of equivalent
pass a thorough background check
pass a lie detector test, physical, and drug screen
be willing to work some nights, weekends, and holidays
Job descriptions are available at City Hall. All applicants will be
required to complete an application in the Office of the City Clerk
at City Hall. All applications will expire in ninety (90) days.
